The BBQ is so tender and the sauces are wonderful. The staff is so friendly, I love to eat here!
In town from Miami for the day and was told to come here for lunch from a local. Didn't disappoint. Food was amazing. Had their pulled pork sandwich, homemade chips and bake beans. They have an assortment of sauces on the table. I had the Hot & Spicy mixed with the Carolina. The staff is so incredibly polite and friendly. Definitely has a hometown vibe where the customers know the people who work here. I only stopped in for a few minutes to grab a bite, but glad I did. Definitely better than the mainstream restaurants in the area.
Always friendly service. I tried the chicken wings this time and they were amazing. A dry rub by default they were full flavored and moist.
Always great food! I tried the low country boil yesterday and it was fantastic! Give this place a chance, you will not be disappointed!
Had the sampler today for lunch. Everything was great and full of flavor but the ribs were dynamite! Smoked to perfection with a nice crispy flavorful crust. It was like eating a slab of bacon. No sauce needed or wanted because I felt it would have taken away from it's smoke. I did try all of the sauces with the pork and turkey. I didn't find one that I didn't like. The sweet potato fries also had great flavor and a nice crunch.
awesome place . great foods . prices were great and staff super friendy. Great job
The food was really good it was our first time there I can taste the quality in their food good job since a lot braeden's
Brisket was tender and had a nice flavor. A little fatty but most brisket is. The pork platter was delicious. Nice homestyle green beans - not sweet. Homestyle chips were nice and crispy. The mac and cheese was a huge disappointment for me, the guy taking our order said it was very popular - I don't see how. It was a little disappointing that you only get one slice of Texas toast cut in half with the platters. I would prefer enough bread to make a sandwich. 5 sauces to choose from. Mixing the house and the sweet bold sauce is really good.
Found this wonderful BBQ on Google Maps and was pleasantly surprised. I kept eating my son’s BBQ nachos. I loved that they were made with homemade potato chips. Variety of sauces to try with all the food we had. Reasonable prices and fast service.
This little hometown favorite is the happening place to be for lunch or dinner !!! They have a rather large menu & offer so much more than just pork bbq. There is a smoker on site that they use to smoke their meats fresh daily as well as Smoked Baked Potatoes !!! And let me tell ya those potatoes are huge !!! You could make a meal out of that alone !! :) The staff & management are top notch & always make you feel like family !!!
I have honestly had better. I went there expecting amazing food and what I received was sub par BBQ. I ordered the sampler platter as it's my go to at BBQ joints when I don't really know what I'm hungry for. I asked also for a side of burnt ends. They were out for the day. I received my order and came back home. The ribs in the platter were full of gristle and fat. I wasn't even able to finish them because of how tough the meat was. The only great thing about the whole meal were the baked beans. Only my second visit here, doubt I will be back.
Pretty good local BBQ spot. Large selection.
The ribs I had were flavorful - but barely room temperature. The fries were dusted with a seasoning that added little to the flavor. The baked beans were amongst the best I've ever had. This was a real mixed bag. I would eat here again, it just wasn't the best barbecue I've ever had, but also not the worst. The barbecue pork nachos were great, especially with jalapeños. I tried four of the fives sauces, with the exception of the Carolina. The four I tried were flavorful and robust with my favorite being the House Barbecue sauce. The atmosphere of the place was okay. I did not particularly enjoy the Contemporary Christian music that was playing, but I was able to block it out via conversation with the family. We were there for lunch and only two other families/groupings were there, so I wouldn't call it a hot spot - I'm sure it would be busier during the dinner hours. Definitely worth a try, especially for Kingsport.
We tried several items on the menu and everything was great. Pricing was fair, service was decent, food was wonderful.
Good service. Good homestyle, southern eats. Fairly large selection. Decent portions. I like the atmosphere - very rustic southern chic. Its not really my kind of place (I'm more of a modern vegetarian type of foodie) but even I can appreciate the good work and decent quality of this place. If this is your thing, I'd recommend it.
